Job Summary:
908 Devices Inc. is revolutionizing chemical analysis with its innovative handheld devices used in vital health, safety, and defense tech applications. They are seeking a Product Line Manager/Technical Sales Specialist responsible for managing, marketing, and selling their Czitek product line, which includes product positioning, customer support, and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Timely response to all customer inquiries from sales to technical support.
โ€ข Worldwide support to resellers and end user requests that may include configuration recommendations, pricing, quoting, and processing of orders, as well as before and after market support of the products.
โ€ข Must be capable of running FTIR samples with our accessories and analyze the output which requires experience in FTIR instrumentation and sample preparation for ATR (Attenuated Total Reflection Techniques). FTIR Microscopy experience is a plus.
โ€ข Write/create technical applications and service bulletins (FAQโ€™s) to post to web/social media.
โ€ข Ability to design and present live and virtual web demos to communicate benefits and features of our products.
โ€ข Increase our products exposure to Digital Media on the Internet via blogs, social media, SEO, videos and updates to our website with goal to generate prospective business.
โ€ข Work closely with Manufacturing to communicate prospective business for forecasting lead times and delivery commitments.
โ€ข โ€œBrand Refreshโ€ of all marketing materials for posting to digital media sites where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Chemistry Degree or comparable degree required
โ€ข Hands-on FTIR Instrumentation experience
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Above-average skills in standard business software (MS Office)
โ€ข Experience with FTIR analytical software
โ€ข Some travel for trade shows, workshops, and industry events.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with Salesforce, and Shopify websites is a plus
โ€ข FTIR Microscopy experience is a plus
