The Line Leader is responsible for, and works with, team members to meet set objectives for their assigned production lines in the areas of safety, quality, reliability, and scrap. The Line Leader is additionally responsible for ensuring that all team members are properly motivated and effectively trained to safely and reliably operate production equipment.

  • Ensures that all safety requirements and policies are enforced and followed
  • Train, motivate and lead Production Technicians, Machine Operators and assigned Hi-Lo Drivers
  • Ensure Production Goals are met on a daily basis
  • Help repair, maintain and run production line as needed
  • Follows and enforces company policies and work rules
  • Utilize SAP for Production, Inventory of Raw Materials and Scrap Reporting
  • Effectively communicate to Senior Management all necessary information on a daily basis through verbal and electronic means
  • Works in a safe and efficient manner at all times, monitors team members for safe practices and mentors best methods
  • Follows and enforces company and local work rules, safety rules, policies and work instructions
  • Protect company assets
  • Perform Associate Performance Evaluations as required
  • Facilitate team meetings for respective line
  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed at all times
  • Initiate investigation and action as needed to reported food safety and food quality issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Requires an Associate's or Vocational degree in a technical discipline or 3-4 years of relevant supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership, be technically oriented and be knowledgeable in manufacturing systems. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer aptitude, leadership and teambuilding skills.
