Founded in 1985 by Board Chair Hon. John V. Lindsay, Executive Producer Bernard Gersten and Director Gregory Mosher, and led for 33 years by Andre Bishop, LCT is one of the leading nonprofit theaters in the country, producing an annual season of plays and musicals that have been seen by millions around the globe. Position Summary:

Lincoln Center Theater seeks aseasonalAssistant Production Manager to join our production departmentfrom August2026- April2027. The Assistant Production Manager will be an active member of the production teamassistingthe Production Manager(PM)and Associate Production Managers(APMs). The Production teamis responsible forcoordination and execution of the stage productions in the Vivian Beaumont Theater, Mitzi Newhouse Theater and Claire Tow Theateryear-round. The Production Department collaborates with all other Lincoln Center Theater administrative departments for readings, workshops, andspecial events.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist PM & APMs with day-to-day activities.
  • Liaise with other LCT administrative departments.
  • Liaise with the show companies as directed by PM & APM's.
  • Attend production meetings and staff meetings.
  • Execute and coordinate purchases with PM, APM's and department heads.
  • Help implementinclusive practices for LCTproductions.
  • Assistwith administrative tasks in other production departments as needed.

Position Requirements and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Experience with Stagecraft in multiple disciplines - any combination of sets, lighting, props, sound or stage management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively acrossdifferingdepartments.
  • Ability to positively respond as plans and circumstances evolve and change.
  • Ability for a flexible schedule during technical rehearsals and preview shows.
  • Ayear of experience in theater or an arts organization is preferable but notrequired.

Compensation:

This is atemporary,approximately9 months(36weeks),full-time,non-exempt, salaried position with a salaryrangeof $1,154/week- $1,230/week.Lincoln Center Theater provides comprehensive benefitsincluding:Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 403(b) and Employer Match, and Paid Time Off.
