Lightning Rehab Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This full-time, onsite role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services primarily in a home care setting. This position is situated in a supportive and collaborative environment where you will actively participate in patient assessments and treatment planning. • Evaluate patients' conditions through thorough assessments to identify unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions that could include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Maintain a caseload that enables you to dedicate time and focus to each patient, ensuring a high quality of care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and self-management strategies to enhance their recovery process.
• Utilize state-of-the-art EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for maintaining accurate patient documentation and tracking progress.
• Conduct continuous evaluations of treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary based on patient responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Promote wellness programs that align with patient goals, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Our approach focuses on comprehensive evaluations to understand each patient's unique goals, ensuring that our treatment plans are tailored specifically to their needs and lifestyle.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active and unblemished state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic outpatient care through prior experience, particularly in home care settings.
• Exceptional knowledge of manual therapy practices and the ability to create effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, with a strong preference for experience with WebPT.

• Previous experience in a home care setting or outpatient physical therapy clinics.
• Advanced training or certifications in specific physical therapy modalities or techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
