Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Implement and monitor evidence-based physical therapy interventions, continuously adjusting treatment protocols based on individual patient progress.
  • Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and the importance of following prescribed exercise and rehabilitation programs.
  • Maintain updated and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using EMR software, preferably WebPT.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
  • Promote preventative care strategies and adaptations to enhance patients’ overall well-being and reduce the risk of future injuries.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide input to enhance clinic operations and rehabilitation practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an outpatient population, comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Patients range from athletes seeking to return to their performance best to seniors focused on maintaining mobility and independence. Your interactions will foster a positive, motivational relationship as you guide them through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Possess a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Demonstrated mastery of various manual therapy techniques and physical therapy interventions.
  • Ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for precise documentation of patient information.
  • Stay updated with current physical therapy methodologies and treatments supported by clinical research.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
