Title: Sr. Salesforce Developer (PD1 & PD2 Certified) – Programmer 5

Location: Reynoldsburg, OH (Onsite – Ohio Residents Only)
Duration: Contract
Interview: Face-to-Face (Mandatory)

Important Requirements
  • Must be an Ohio resident.
  • Must be available for an in-person interview in Reynoldsburg, OH.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) and Platform Developer II (PD2) certifications are mandatory.
  • Visa: Any visa except CPT, TN, and Green Card (PP number required to fetch I-94).
Job Summary

The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, Salesforce APIs, and Experience Cloud, along with experience leading technical initiatives, performing code reviews, and supporting Salesforce deployments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and OmniStudio.
  • Develop OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs, MuleSoft, and other middleware technologies.
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical leadership to development teams.
  • Participate in solution design, impact analysis, and technical reviews.
  • Support Salesforce administration activities including user management, security configuration, data management, automation, and reporting.
  • Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments using DevOps tools such as Gearset or Copado.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • 2–3+ years of hands-on Salesforce OmniStudio experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with:
    • Apex
    • Triggers
    • Batch Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Salesforce APIs
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud development.
  • Experience migrating data and implementing Salesforce OmniStudio Public Sector Foundation solutions.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Git, Gearset, Copado, Salesforce Data Loader, and Workbench.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, configuration, and administration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, particularly Grants Management.
  • Experience supporting Public Sector Foundation implementations.
  • Experience resolving OmniStudio Public Sector Foundation issues.
  • MuleSoft integration experience.
