This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Roanoke, where we provide outpatient services tailored to individual patient needs. • Deliver tailored physical therapy services to each patient, addressing their unique recovery goals and challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish a clear understanding of each patient's condition and create a customized treatment plan.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques, focusing on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to enhance mobility.
• Guide patients through customized fitness and wellness programs, adapting strategies as needed to ensure optimal results.
• Educate patients on techniques to promote a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing strength training, flexibility exercises, and balance improvement.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary, and documenting all treatment sessions accurately using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Foster a motivating environment, encouraging patients to actively participate in their recovery and rehabilitation.

At Lightning Rehab Therapy, our patient population primarily consists of adults and seniors requiring rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. As an outpatient therapist, you will work with individuals who are eager to regain their activity levels and improve their physical health, allowing you to make a significant impact on their lives.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong foundation in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), particularly with WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to staying informed about current best practices and research in physical therapy.

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Proven success in implementing effective treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, enabling productive partnerships with patients and healthcare peers.

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
