Job description

Lighting & Electrical Technician

Tri State Lighting is seeking a dependable and motivated Lighting & Electrical Technician to join our team. We provide commercial lighting maintenance, electrical repairs, and lighting retrofits for customers throughout the region.

This position requires travel, working outdoors, and operating bucket trucks and aerial lifts. If you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting electrical systems, and delivering quality service, we’d like to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and install commercial lighting systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and lighting issues.
  • Operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and ladders safely.
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
  • Complete required job documentation, including photos of completed work.

Qualifications

  • Commercial lighting and/or electrical experience preferred.
  • Bucket truck experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to four nights per week is required.
