A Lighting Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and operation of lighting systems for events, performances, film sets, or venues. They work closely with directors, designers, and technicians to create the desired visual effects and ensure proper illumination on stage or set. Their duties include planning lighting layouts, managing equipment, supervising lighting crews, and troubleshooting technical issues during productions. Lighting Managers also ensure that all lighting complies with safety standards and meets the artistic vision of the project.

Sales Manager – Wholesale Lighting & Home Products
Location: Onsite | Full-Time
Compensation: $90,000–$125,000 Base + Bonus/Commission Opportunity

A growing consumer products company is launching an innovative new product line within the lighting industry and is looking for a driven Sales Manager to help lead market expansion. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to executive leadership, ideal for someone who thrives in proactive B2B sales, enjoys building relationships from the ground up, and has experience introducing products into wholesale retail channels.

This is not an account maintenance role. We are looking for someone who knows how to hunt, build pipelines, open doors, and drive revenue growth within wholesale and retail environments.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop and grow relationships with department stores, mass retailers, distributors, and other wholesale accounts
• Prospect and generate new B2B business opportunities through outreach, networking, and field activity
• Serve as a visible, front-facing representative in the market and maintain strong customer engagement
• Create and present proposals, sales programs, and strategic recommendations tailored to client needs
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, accounting, and leadership teams to support growth initiatives
• Track customer activity, pipeline progress, competitive trends, and market opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and reporting within company systems
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed
• Support the successful launch and expansion of new lighting product lines into the marketplace

What We're Looking For:
• 3–6+ years of B2B sales experience within a wholesale environment required
• Experience selling lighting products is strongly preferred
• Proven success generating new business and developing accounts from scratch
• Strong background in proactive outbound sales and relationship development
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable making decisions independently
• Ability to travel approximately 20%+ as needed

Preferred Background:
• Experience launching new products into wholesale or retail markets
• Existing relationships within lighting, home décor, consumer products, or mass retail channels
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
• High-impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership
• Opportunity to help shape and grow a newly launched patented product line
• Strong compensation structure with bonus/commission potential
• Entrepreneurial environment with room for long-term growth and influence
• Ability to make a measurable impact on company expansion and revenue growth
