Operations Supervisor - Dover, DE
Job Description

About the Role:

Elite Building Services is looking to hire a Janitorial Supervisor based out of Dover, DE. Candidates must possess organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

NOTE: Some rare weekend work may be required.

The Janitorial Supervisor position will require traveling to various sites that Elite manages in the following areas: MD Eastern Shores, Southern DE, Newark/Wilmington, DE

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Training new cleaners at various sites
  • Re-training of cleaners who fail their inspections
  • Inspecting various accounts for quality
  • Troubleshooting with customers
  • Delivering supplies to various job sites
  • Making minor repairs on vacuums (i.e. changing belts)
  • Stepping in to clean on an emergency basis
  • Taking calls from cleaners regarding issues at their locations
  • Arranging coverage for last minute call-outs
  • Holding & distribution of keys as needed for all accounts in your area
  • Overseeing floor crews at night as needed
  • Additional tasks to be executed on an “As needed” basis

Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Hours/Days of Operation: Monday thru Friday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm

Role Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Janitorial experience is a plus (Not Required)
  • Floorcare experience & Floorcare machine knowledge a plus (Not Required)
  • General commercial cleaning experience a plus (Not Required)

Transportation:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must have reliable personal vehicle
  • Must be able to provide proof of valid insurance and registration in your name

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly every day
  • Bend, stretch, stand, twist, reach, walk & sit for extended periods of time
  • Climb stairs and ladders
