Position Overview
The Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic client relationships across Life Science Connect's suite of platforms. This role focuses on execution excellence, account expansion, and consistent delivery of client value.
Key Responsibilities
โข Manage and grow a defined portfolio of strategic accounts
โข Execute account plans aligned to client business objectives
โข Serve as primary day-to-day account owner
โข Translate client goals into integrated marketing, media, data, and event solutions
โข Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting discipline
โข Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver client programs
Scope and Scale
โข Account Portfolio: 6-12 strategic accounts
โข Deal Complexity: Multi-product engagements across media, data, and events
โข Sales Cycle: Mid-length, multi-stakeholder cycles
โข Decision Authority: Owns execution; escalates strategic decisions
โข Leadership Span: Cross-functional coordination without direct reports

Qualifications
โข 6-9 years of proven success in B2B sales or account management preferably in the life sciences or related professional services industries.
