This is a hybrid position requiring periodic onsite support and collaboration with government and contractor personnel.

Position Summary:

The Program Analyst (PA) is responsible for supporting Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC)'s military customer and program personnel, including the Marine Corps and the Navy's Mission Assurance Programs at various locations worldwide. The PA provides technical and operational coordination, training, and support to a military headquarters entity and supports Joint Service tasking, as needed. This person is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and preparing information briefs, point papers, and staff recommendations regarding policy, procedures, and operations. This position assists in the review of military headquarters plans, policies, and directives, ensuring compliance with Department of War (DoW) policies and directives. The PA provides administrative support to RMC Corporate Headquarters, as needed, to support customer requirements.ย 


Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the scheduling and coordination of Mission Assurance Assessments (MAAs), supporting the assessment team with data and logistics as requested
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to RMC personnel for domestic and international travel
  • Assist in the coordination of staffing and research for DoW and USMC/Navy policies, directives, and initiatives; respond to DOW and Service-wide tasksย 
  • Prepare graphical, oral, written reports, briefs, and products for multiple programs encompassed within the Mission Assurance umbrella
  • Provide logistical and program support on Mission Assurance related matters
  • Perform research, evaluate solutions, and make recommendations for various topics in support of programs under the Mission Assurance umbrella
  • Draft briefs for internal and external useย 
  • Provide technical input to proposals, articles, brochures, reports, and manuals, as needed
  • Assist in the development and review of DoW reports and information papers to include editing, proofreading, and factchecking
  • Assist RMC and DoW personnel in Common Access Card processing, NIPR and SIPR Credentialing, and office access
  • Assist with event planning, meetings, and conferences, including maintaining a master event calendar or spreadsheet, collecting RSVPs, and coordinating with external stakeholders
  • Participate in conferences, working groups, meetings, and other events, as needed
  • Develop plans of action, milestones, and after-action reports
  • Assist in various administrative duties, as needed

  • Effectively applies technical knowledge to solve problems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative to help ensure team tasks are successfully completed within required timelines
  • Develops clear and concise plans for completing projects and/or achieving objectives
  • Familiar with Microsoft D365 products

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Service-related experienceย 
  • Minimum one-year work experience (to include internships)
  • Experience with US Department of War (DoW)

Required Certificates & Licenses:ย 

  • Active Secret Clearanceย 


Other Requirements:

  • Work Location: This is a hybrid position based in the Arlington, VA (Pentagon) area.ย 
    • Candidates must be willing and able to report onsite at the Pentagon and other designated government or RMC locations ย ย ย ย ย ย as required to support mission and customer needs.
  • Security Clearance: Obtaining a DoD Secret Clearance.ย 
    • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements ย for clearance level required for the job
  • Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel, CONUS and OCONUS approximately 25% of the time.
    • Telecommunication is authorized for this role.
  • Work Environment Compliance: Commitment to maintaining a drug-free work environment, U.S. Citizenship, and possession ย ย ย ย ย of a valid state driver's license.
