Job description

BYRON MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY TECHNICIAN 
Posting:  Byron Public Schools is accepting applications for a Library Technician to work with students, staff, and community members in our Media Center.  Applications will be accepted online, and any questions can be forwarded to Richard Swanson, BMS Principal, at (507)775-2189. The position is open until filled, with interviews following a review of applicants.  Pay range for this position is $18.01-$25.45. This position follows the Support Staff Agreement, which can be found on our website.

Description:  This person will maintain library materials in both written and technological form.  They will use district databases and assist the Technology department with the help desk.  They will help the school assessment coordinator prepare for state assessments.  Above all, we are looking for someone who will inspire our kids to develop a love of learning through literature and creative spaces.  A great attitude, growth mindset, and love for applicable learning are essential.
