Position Description:

The HR Coordinator supports the delivery of an exceptional employee experience by coordinating learning and development programs, onboarding activities, employee engagement initiatives and People & Culture operations. This role serves as a connector between employees, leaders, and external partners, ensuring the successful execution of programs that strengthen culture, engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness.


Essential Functions:
  • People Operations Administration
    • Provide administrative and project support that enables the People & Culture team to operate efficiently while acting as the primary employee resource for routine inquiries.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and requests.
    • Coordinate department projects, meetings, and annual initiatives.
    • Maintain organizational charts, calendars, and department documentation.
    • Monitor HR inbox and route matters appropriately.
    • Support audits, reporting, record management, and vendor coordination as needed.
  • Learning and Development Support
  • Support the execution and administration of learning, development, and culture-building programs.
  • Coordinate training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.
  • Manage LMS assignments, completions, reporting, and audits.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal development programs.
  • Track participation, feedback and effectiveness metrics.
  • Onboarding & Employee Experience
  • Own and continuously enhance the employee onboarding experience from offer acceptance through successful integration.
  • Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions and organizational introductions.
  • Manage onboarding schedules, welcome communications, and new hire resources.
  • Track onboarding progress and completion milestones.
  • Internal Communications Support
  • Develop and distribute People & Culture communications, including coordination of monthly employee newsletter.
  • Maintain HR intranet (Learning Library) content and employee resources.
  • Support communication campaigns for engagement, benefits, learning, and culture initiatives.
  • Assist with creating presentations, guides, toolkits, and employee resources.
  • Coordinate team meetings, town halls, and other employee forums.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture Programs
  • Serve as the operational lead for employee engagement initiatives that reinforce culture and belonging.
  • Coordinate employee recognition and service awards.
  • Support wellness initiatives, volunteer activities, celebrations, and special events.
  • Assist with employee surveys and action-planning efforts.
  • Maintain engagement calendars and event schedules.
  • Track participation and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience, Education & Credentials:

  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience in a HR, administrative, employee experience, project management or related support role required.
  • Experience supporting employee programs, events, training initiatives, or organizational projects preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience working with HRIS required, ADP WorkforceNow preferred
