SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Change Configuration Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This position is located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract(SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Configuration Manager to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Provide IMAC documentation and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations. Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met. Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures. May structure and maintain databases. Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submits reports regarding status. Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs. Change Managers work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Contributes to successful completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results, erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
  • Manage the deployment and configuration of Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates to client devices.
  • Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
  • Provide technical support to other IT teams and end-users.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of work center specific tactics, techniques, and procedures, including configuration settings and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Ability to share knowledge and best practices with other IT teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 12 years' experience and High School Diploma OR 8 years' experience with Bachelor's Degree OR 6 years' experience with Master's Degree OR 3 years' experience with PHD
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification version 4.0 and/or 5.0
  • ITIL Release, Control, and Validation (RCV) version 3 Certification -

  • HIGHLY DESIRED: Experience with BMC Remedy ITSRM version 9.x and/or ServiceNow IT Service Management
  • HIGHLY DESIRED: Experience with BMC Remedy ITRSM Change Management Console and/or ServiceNow Change Module
  • DESIRED: DoW 8570 IAT II / Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
