JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Value Center in DeForest is hiring a Size Jacket Operator to join our Manufacturing team. You'll operate specialized equipment used to cut and prepare materials for our library products while helping keep production running safely and efficiently.
In this role, you will:
  • Safely and efficiently operate Size Jacket equipment to meet daily production needs
  • Follow job tickets to accurately cut materials to the required press size or finished-product specifications
  • Order needed raw materials and perform weekly light maintenance, including blade and oil changes
  • Flex into other areas of the Value Center as production and labor needs shift
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or maintenance issues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the majority of the 8-hour shift
  • Willingness to cross-train in other Value Center functions
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or maintenance issues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the majority of the 8-hour shift
  • Willingness to cross-train in other Value Center functions
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
