Job description

About the Role:

The ATC Group Director of Marketing will lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives that elevate the company's brand presence and drive business growth across the United States. This role is pivotal in shaping the marketing vision, aligning it with corporate objectives, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. The Director will oversee market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform targeted campaigns and product positioning. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and executive leadership is essential to synchronize marketing efforts with overall business strategies. Ultimately, this position is responsible for enhancing market share, increasing customer engagement, and delivering measurable ROI through innovative and data-driven marketing programs.

 The location for this role can be accommodated out of one of our main facilities located in Phoenix, AZ, Tulsa, OK, or Seattle, WA. This role will report to the ATC VP of Sales with approximately 15–25% travel, including industry conferences, customer events, and visits to ATC Group operating companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Management

  • Serve as the steward of the ATC Group brand and the individual brands of each operating company.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing materials, presentations, websites, social media, and customer communications.
  • Develop and maintain corporate brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Coordinate branding efforts following acquisitions and new business integrations.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and continuously improve all company websites.
  • Optimize website content, user experience, SEO, and analytics.
  • Coordinate with outside developers and agencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate company information across digital platforms.

Social Media & Content

  • Own the company's LinkedIn strategy and content calendar.
  • Create engaging content highlighting capabilities, customer successes, employee recognition, acquisitions, certifications, and industry events.
  • Develop photography, video, and graphics to support marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements.

Trade Shows & Conferences

  • Plan and manage all company participation in industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Coordinate booth design, promotional materials, logistics, shipping, registrations, sponsorships, customer events, and post-show follow-up.
  • Work closely with Sales to maximize lead generation and customer engagement before, during, and after events.

Marketing Communications

  • Develop brochures, capability statements, presentations, advertisements, newsletters, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Draft press releases for acquisitions, certifications, leadership announcements, and company milestones.
  • Support executive communications, speeches, and customer presentations.
  • Maintain a centralized library of approved marketing materials.

Sales Support

  • Partner with Business Development to create proposals, presentation materials, customer profiles, and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Develop industry-specific marketing initiatives supporting strategic growth objectives.
  • Assist with customer visits, facility tours, and promotional events.

Internal Communications

  • Support employee communications across all facilities.
  • Assist with company newsletters, town halls, recognition programs, recruiting campaigns, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Help reinforce company culture during periods of growth and integration.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage relationships with graphic designers, photographers, printers, promotional vendors, web developers, and marketing agencies.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Evaluate ROI on marketing investments and recommend improvements.

Analytics & Performance

  • Track key marketing metrics including website traffic, social media engagement, conference ROI, lead generation, and brand awareness.
  • Prepare quarterly marketing performance reports for executive leadership.
  • Recommend strategies to improve visibility and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience managing corporate websites and LinkedIn business pages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), Canva, CRM platforms, and website content management systems.
  • Experience coordinating trade shows and corporate events.

Benefits and Compensation

The annual compensation for this role will be determined based on relevant experience and is also eligible for quarterly bonuses. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a variety of ancillary benefits eligible within the first month following the initial 30-days of employment. ATC offers 401(k) retirement options with up to a 4% employer match, 80 hours of accrued vacation, and 40 hours of accrued sick time per year with carryover for unused time.
