Library Digitization Assistants are staff members who help convert physical library materials, such as books, manuscripts, photographs, and other documents, into digital formats. Their duties often include scanning items, processing digital files, entering metadata, and ensuring quality control of digitized materials. They work closely with librarians and archivists to preserve valuable resources and make them more accessible to users online. This role is essential to modern libraries, as it helps expand access to collections and supports long-term preservation efforts.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a library digitization assistant?

Familiarity with digital imaging equipment, content management systems, and metadata standards like Dublin Core is important, as well as experience using scanners and image editing software. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and effective communication help you manage projects and collaborate with library staff. Job description

About Us:
The United States has the poorest maternal and birth outcomes of all developed countries with the underserved, Black, Brown, Indigenous communities disproportionately affected. Nadia Care is working to drastically change the experience of affected communities by reimagining how we deliver meaningful and compassionate care to expectant moms.
Nadia Care's mission is to improve pregnancy, birth and the postpartum journey for women and their families by reimagining how maternity care is delivered. Our team is focused on building trust-based engagement and wrap-around support for expectant moms at home, in person and virtually to ensure they have all the social support they need for a successful and joyful pregnancy journey. We help our members with care navigation, doula support, assistance with lactation, nutrition, housing, transportation and a wide range of other needs. We leverage technology to support our virtual engagement that allows us to meet all our moms where they are.
We ensure that our members have trusted sources for support, resources, and information throughout their pregnancy, delivery and well into postpartum. Nadia Care does not replace the primary obstetrician or doctor's relationships. Instead, we support expectant mothers with all other health-related social needs not typically available through their doctors' offices.
Our Values:
  • Empathy is at the heart of everything we do. We must always center the experiences of the mothers and families we serve, as well as support and uplift one another.
  • Collaboration is what makes us stronger. We achieve the greatest impact when we work together, share knowledge, and elevate each other's strengths.
  • Resilience reflects our ability to push through challenges, adapt in a fast-changing environment, and remain committed to our mission no matter the obstacles.

The Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist with solid, hands-on experience in day-to-day marketing tactics who is eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced setting. Working under the guidance of our Senior Marketing Manager, you'll be directly supporting our campaigns, content, and operations as they come to life.
This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at in-person events, primarily in the Baltimore area with occasional travel to Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
  • Creative Asset Edits: Perform routine updates and minor design adjustments to existing marketing materials. Ensure all brochures, flyers, and digital assets remain organized, current, accurate, and aligned with updated brand guidelines.
  • Project & SOP Management: Support project workflows and strict deadlines in Asana to ensure all team deliverables stay on track. Maintain and update SOPs, growth team call scripts, field services collateral, pitch decks, and messaging guidelines to keep all internal teams aligned.
  • Marketing Collateral Procurement: Manage the relationship with external vendors to order physical marketing materials. Ensure all print and promotional items are ordered within budget, meet quality standards, and are delivered on schedule. Assist in the setup of an online storefront so the field teams can self-service.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, SMS, direct mail, and phone outreach.
  • Social Media Management: Copywrite, create, schedule, and execute a consistent content calendar across all primary social platforms. Monitor engagement, respond to community inquiries, and track performance metrics to refine social strategy.
  • Giveaway & Swag Coordination: Lead the end-to-end process for brand giveaways and promotional merchandise. This includes sourcing high-quality "swag," managing inventory levels, and overseeing the distribution logistics.
  • Email Templates: Design and maintain a library of high-performing email templates. Work within CRM or email marketing platform to ensure templates are visually appealing, mobile-responsive, and optimized for user engagement.
  • Analytics and Campaign KPIs: Build and manage campaign tracking assets, including custom UTM parameters, short links, and QR codes, to support multi-channel attribution and analytics. Work with Sr. Marketing Manager and Marketing Ops Manager to calculate event and campaign effectiveness. Develop and maintain marketing reporting templates and deliver monthly/quarterly KPIs to internal stakeholders.
  • Newsletter & Website Maintenance: Collaborate directly with program leaders to generate content for the quarterly digital newsletter, handling the writing, design, proofing, email distribution, and blog publishing. Maintain current website content and assist with digital projects as needed.
  • Inbound Communications: Serve as the primary contact for inbound group email inquiries, responding with empathy, discretion, and professionalism while routing emails to appropriate teams.
