The mission of the Troy City Clerk's Office is to expeditiously provide accurate and courteous response to all requests for service or information, and to be sensitive to the individual needs of citizens.
The Customer Service Assistant will be assigned to greet and direct visitors who come to City Hall.
DUTIES
• Provide customer service by answering phone calls, greeting, and assisting customers.
• Interact with public in person, by phone, and online.
• Assist a diverse public by providing information about the City of Troy and referrals to other City Departments.
• Use a computer and other office equipment to perform work duties.
• Perform related work as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to interact courteously and effectively with the public, City Hall staff, and other City departments.
• Must be skilled in written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability and/or experience working with Windows-based computers.
• As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (including marijuana).
HOURS
• Part-Time, Monday - Friday, 12 - 24 hours per week.
• Possible shifts: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 12:00 - 4:30 PM.
• Occasional evenings for after-hour meetings.
