Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Associate Director, Slate Communication Strategist. In support of the University's strategy and mission, the University of North Georgia is looking to expand its team of Slate experts responsible for the communication coordination and strategic daily management of our Slate instance. The Associate Director, Slate Communication Strategist on our Slate Team will assist in leading a team that will focus on helping UNG Slate users across various academic units and departments with the usage of this customer relationship management (CRM) system. This position reports to the Director of our Slate Team.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for building, reviewing, and launching all communications requests sent to the Slate team. Upholds and enforces UNG's best practices for communications as decided upon by the Strategic Enrollment Management Communications Task Force committees.
- Represents the Slate department as subject matter expert for communications.
- Builds and reviews the communication recipient lists, rules, and queries associated.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the query libraries to fulfill UNG's communication needs.
- Onboards new users providing initial Slate training and creates and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) required for the new users.
- Assists in the design and creation of communication reports and queries as requested for mailings that are running or have completed for analysis.
- Also responsible for assisting the Slate Strategist as needed with projects they are working on.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience using Slate or similar customer relationship management system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference given to applicants who have experience working with higher education student systems, including Slate and Ellucian Banner.
Proposed Salary
$68,051 - $74,856
