AutoCAD Technician
KEITH is seeking an AutoCAD Technician in our Pompano Beach, FL office. We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture. We are a well-established multidisciplinary company that offers civil engineering, land surveying, subsurface utility engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and construction management services. The firm was founded on the principle of achieving success by combining the latest technology with client-oriented business practices and a strong group of talented professionals.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Support design staff with drafting tasks for civil engineering, land development, utility, and infrastructure projects.
  • Make revisions to drawings based on redlines and feedback from engineers and project managers.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic project files and CAD libraries.
  • Help incorporate field data, sketches, and markups into CAD drawings under supervision.
  • Provide general drafting support to engineering and design teams as needed.
  • Learn and apply company CAD standards and drafting best practices through on-the-job training.

Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; willingness to learn and improve skills is essential.
  • Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interest in civil engineering drafting and design.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering sketches and markups.
