the development of efficient, safe, maintainable, and constructible electrical designs for capital projects, supporting multiple sites and projects concurrently on a local and regional basis, and Participate as a project team member and electrical discipline lead for large, complex capital projects;* Lead electrical design and close-out documentation in accordance with engineering execution processes, including design basis information, drawing revisions, and final as-built updates;* Lead development of project design requirements and assemble project estimate information, including preliminary layouts, equipment information, material takeoffs, vendor information, and constructability input;* Lead electrical design package development including electrical one-line diagrams, power distribution layouts, control panel layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable and conduit schedules, cable tray and conduit routing, grounding and bonding details, lighting layouts, installation details, demolition drawings, vendor documentation, and as-built updates;* Provide expert guidance to project teams and engineers in electrical design, low-voltage distribution, control panels, electrical equipment layout, instrumentation interfaces, electrical one-line documentation, and construction details;* Lead field walkdowns to verify existing electrical conditions, collect design information, and support constructability planning;* Coordinate electrical design requirements with process, mechanical, piping, civil/structural, instrumentation, automation, construction, maintenance, operations, safety, and project management stakeholders;* Support integration of electrical design with instrumentation and process control systems, including control panel layouts, I/O interface information, wiring diagrams, loop-related installation details, and coordination with automation resources;* Lead and provide technical oversight of equipment vendors, engineering consultants, EPCM firms, fabricators, and contractors for electrical design deliverables;* Lead or support electrical design reviews, model reviews, constructability reviews, drawing quality reviews, and project readiness reviews to identify design gaps, installation risks, interferences, and missing project information;* Support project commissioning, checkout, startup, field question resolution, contractor and vendor submittal review, change resolution, and final as-built documentation related to designer responsibilities;* Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of Bayer electrical design standards, CAD tools, drawing templates, symbol libraries, standard details, quality-check practices, and design documentation workflows;* Present and communicate electrical design scope, project coordination.# WHO YOU AREBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:## Required Qualifications:* Associate Degree in Design or Drafting Technology, BS in Engineering, or equivalent;* Demonstrated capability with electrical design deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, conduit and cable tray routing, grounding details, lighting layouts, installation details, demolition drawings, and as-built documentation;* Advanced knowledge of electrical design practices, power distribution, motor control, control panels, instrumentation interfaces, grounding and bonding, and electrical equipment layout;* Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and company specifications, including NEC and NFPA requirements where applicable;* Ability to perform field verification, collect as-built information, resolve design conflicts, review vendor and contractor documentation, and support construction, commissioning, and startup activities;* Demonstrated ability to lead design tasks, mentor designers, coordinate consultant and contractor work, manage multiple project priorities, and communicate technical issues clearly, while building productive relationships and fostering collaboration across diverse technical teams.Preferred Qualifications:* 12 years of experience in electrical design or closely related engineering environments;* Proficiency with AutoCAD and applicable electrical design and CAD tools, with experience in 3D model review or digital
