BCCS is a community organization that prides itself on helping members of our community recover with dignity. We enhance the quality of life by creatively providing Education, Advocacy, Prevention, Early Intervention and Treatment Services. We promote hope and empowerment to persons and families touched by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV and multiple occurring diagnoses, and their related challenges.
As a TCM Administrative Assistant with BCCS, you will:
  • The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining office related activities, including computer support, records maintenance, billing oversight, data entry, scheduling appointments, vehicle usage/log, completing purchase orders, ordering office supplies and support services to staff in the TCM program.
  • The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for ensuring that all new admissions are scheduled for an appointment within 24 hours.
  • The Administrative Assistant is responsible for rescheduling all missed intake appointments and maintaining site intake report.
  • The Administrative Assistant is responsible for documenting client activity and correspondence in client's EMR.
  • Administrative Assistant is also the responsibility of this position to model and maintain high professional conduct and standards among all staff.
Qualifications for the position are:
  • REQUIRED: High School Diploma
  • PREFERRED: Associate degree
  • REQUIRED: 1 year in office environment, 3 years related experience, some knowledge of treatment for substance use disorder/Mental Health Disorder.
  • PREFERRED: Bilingual with fluency in reading/writing in Spanish
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 3:00pm
Pay:
  • Starting at $17/hour
  • Commensurate based on experience and education
