Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a GIS Developer to create an automated GIS integration. This system will assist the scheduling team in identifying the ideal advisor for audit appointments by balancing business requirements and geographic efficiency. The role involves building automated data processes to maintain geospatial data and developing a live geoprocessing service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an automated GIS integration to determine the ideal fit for audit appointments.
  • Build and maintain automated data processes for necessary geospatial data.
  • Design and implement a live geoprocessing service to transform input parameters into an ideal-fit assignment.
  • Engage with GIS Platform Team developers, including the Senior GIS Developer.
  • Collaborate with logistics team members.
  • Participate in periodic stakeholder check-ins with leadership.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required. Fields of study such as Computer Science, GIS, Geography, or Environmental Studies are preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with GIS.
  • Experience with SQL and databases.
  • Knowledge of Computer Science principles, including the Python programming language.
  • Understanding of REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
