Job Description

Job Duties:
This position reports to the Johnston Unit on a daily basis.
Help facilitate various activities between the inmate population and the legal system.
Duties include direct contact and management of inmates who need assistance with Access to Courts.
Facilitate court hearings, inmate/attorney visitation and various functions.
Aquiring and organizing library resources.
Providing information and materials in response to requests.
Maintain files, records, and information systems; ensuring compliance with applicable requirements, laws, rules, and policies.
Maintain and ensure unit law library holdings items are kept current and in good condition.
Assist in coordinating delivery and pickup of legal research material to inmates with indirect access to the unit law library.
