Job title: Licensed Site Safety Coordinator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour

About the Role: We are seeking a Licensed Site Safety Coordinator (to support a long-term NY SCA school construction project in Brooklyn, NY. An active DOB Site Safety Coordinator license is required, as the individual will be listed on the project permit. This is a full-time position with an anticipated project duration of approximately 2 years)
Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify, document, and correct unsafe conditions and practices.
• Ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including daily reports, incident logs, permits, and corrective action records.
• Coordinate with project management, contractors, and field staff to promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work activities are performed safely.

Skills, Education, and Experience Qualifications:

• Active NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator (SSC) License (required).
• Experience supporting building construction projects, preferably schools, public works, or commercial construction.
