Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing all records for homeless students in Infinite Campus.
This position reports to the COORDINATOR OF HOMELESS EDUCATION. THIS IS A FEDERAL GRANT FUNDED POSITION.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives, organizes, and accurately uploads documents into student records and completes updates to homeless status in Infinite Campus.
Maintains various logs, reports, and data to track the identification of homeless student enrollment for state reporting.
Facilitates the submission of requests and works with schools to provide completed records for homeless students.
Serves as receptionist for Homeless Education Department.
Maintains inventory records for Homeless Education Department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years of experience in an office/clerical environment and proficiency with Infinite Campus required.
Makes recommendations to improve data processing in the Homeless Education Department. The ability to work independently.
Moderate level of judgment required.
Requires regular, frequent contact with employees of all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Occasional contact with external personnel. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Microsoft Office and Infinite Campus are required. Tyler Munis is preferred.
May require travel to off-site training locations and school site visits.
NOTE: This is a grade 17, 225 day position that pays for experience up to a Step 4.
