We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Assistant / Technical Support professional to join our Corporate IT team.

This position provides first-level technical support while assisting with the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of the Company's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, learning new technologies, and providing exceptional customer service to team members across multiple hotel locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTechnical Support
  • Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, printers, internet connectivity, password resets, and Microsoft applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues both remotely and onsite.
  • Document technical support requests and resolutions in the Company's ticketing system.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting hotel and corporate team members.
Microsoft 365 amp; Systems Administration
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, Azure, and Purview.
  • Maintain user accounts, software licensing, and access permissions.
  • Install software updates and maintain operating systems and applications.
Cybersecurity amp; Infrastructure
  • Monitor cybersecurity alerts and assist with identifying phishing attempts, malware, and other security threats.
  • Monitor NinjaOne and respond to system alerts based on priority.
  • Assist with monitoring virtual server environments and report system issues to the IT Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and best practices.
IT Operations amp; Projects
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company technology assets and equipment.
  • Assist with website updates, software implementations, reporting, and technology projects.
  • Coordinate equipment setup for new hires and replacement devices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance technology operations across the organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly sit for extended periods, use computers and standard office equipment, and occasionally install or move computer equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. Occasional travel to company locations may be required. This position may occasionally require evening or weekend work during system upgrades or emergency situations.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • One (1) year of technical support experience supporting Windows and/or Linux environments preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is preferred.
  • Experience with remote support tools, endpoint management, or cybersecurity platforms is a plus.
  • Hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
  • Training and mentorship will be provided for candidates with strong technical aptitude and customer service skills.
