What are Level 4 Security guards?

Level 4 Security guards, also known as Personal Protection Officers (PPOs), are highly trained security professionals authorized to provide personal protection and executive security. They undergo advanced training in defensive tactics, firearms proficiency, and risk assessment to protect clients from potential threats. In many states, they are licensed to carry firearms and often work in high-risk environments such as for VIPs, celebrities, or high-value assets. Their responsibilities include threat assessment, close protection, and emergency response. Level 4 Security guards typically require prior security experience and must meet specific state licensing requirements.

The specific responsibilities and requirements can vary by jurisdiction and employer.
