As a Security Officer at SR Global Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients, their assets, and their employees. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activities, controlling access points, and monitoring surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter security threats
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Operate surveillance equipment and report any unusual activities or incidents
- Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents
- Collaborate and communicate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and assets
- Conduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazards
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with customer inquiries and requests
- Conduct training and drills for emergency procedures with other staff members
Requirements:
- Current Guard Card
- Current Exposed Firearm Permit
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of security and safety protocols
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, or run for long periods of time
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
