Job description

UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health Medical Group are recruiting for a Trauma /Acute Care Surgeon for Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno. Applicants must be board eligible or certified (preferred) in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Must have completed a AAST approved, 2-year Acute Care Surgery fellowship or a 1-year Surgical Critical Care fellowship with subsequent faculty experience in Trauma/Acute Care Surgery. The successful candidate must possess a commitment to patient care and have a keen interest in academic surgery, including the education and training of residents, fellows, and medical students. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate research activity along the spectrum of basic science, injury prevention or education. This is an opportunity to teach in a fully accredited 5-year surgical residency.

Community Regional Medical Center is a 650-bed academically affiliated regional referral center and Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center. The program is located in Fresno, California a vibrant, growing and diverse city in the Central Valley close to three national parks and three hours from San Francisco.
