Job description

Job Description
Centralized scheduler who accurately schedules patients in various systems for departments within the health system. Confirms patient demographics, prescriptions and/or orders, insurance information and preps/instructions. This person will perform a mini registration to check for eligiblity and has knowledge of insurance rules. Answers incoming calls for all the depts, directing and screening them accordingly. Reaches out to patients and providers as needed.

About the Team
St. Joseph's University Medical Center is an academic tertiary care medical center and state designated trauma center, located on the Paterson campus, regularly accepts referrals of difficult or unusual cases from other hospitals and physicians and performs both complex and routine procedures.
