Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our in-house legal team in the role of Manager, Legal Counsel. This role will be responsible for supporting the company's contracting processes, including the review, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of commercial agreements.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Contracting & Commercial Support
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and technology-related contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives and legal risk tolerance.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and process improvements to streamline legal operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to business teams on contract policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Ohio or at least one other state, with an ability to become licensed in Ohio.
  • 1-5 years of legal experience preferred.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and commercial transactions preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
