What is a legal recruiting manager?

A Legal Recruiting Manager is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring process of attorneys and other legal professionals within a law firm or legal department. They develop and implement strategies to attract top legal talent, coordinate interviews and hiring events, and manage relationships with law schools and recruitment agencies. Their role also includes ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires and maintaining compliance with hiring policies. Strong communication, organizational, and networking skills are essential in this position.

To thrive as a Legal Recruiting Manager, you need a solid understanding of legal industry hiring practices, talent acquisition strategies, and a bachelor's degree—often in human resources or a related field. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), legal recruiting databases, and HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR is typically required. Job description

Right at Home of Wayne County is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Healthcare Recruiter to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this position is to continuously recruit, screen, and hire qualified caregivers to support our clients and maintain adequate staffing levels.

This is a high-volume recruiting position for someone who understands the healthcare and home care workforce and knows how to find caregivers—not someone who simply posts job advertisements and waits for applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in talent acquisition, with expertise in sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified home care professionals. As a Home Care Recruiter, you will play a vital role in building a high-performing team by leveraging innovative recruiting strategies, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and fostering positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of care provided to clients and the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified home care aides, nurses, and support staff through various channels including social media marketing (recruitment), job boards, and community outreach.
  • Conduct thorough candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessment processes to identify top talent aligned with organizational needs.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting processes from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Utilize talent management software (such as ATS systems like UltiPro) to track applicant flow, update candidate records, and generate recruitment reports.
  • Maintain compliance with HR legal requirements and employment law in all recruiting activities while adhering to internal HR policies and external regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with external recruiting agencies, educational institutions for campus recruitment, and community organizations to expand candidate pools.
  • Engage in employee orientation sessions and participate in training & development initiatives to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and labor market conditions to optimize recruitment efforts for high volume recruitment needs.
  • Foster ongoing relationship management with candidates and internal teams to support succession planning and employee relations initiatives.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in negotiation, talent management, interviewing techniques, and HR sourcing strategies.
  • Strong background in executive recruiting, campus recruitment, sales skills related to talent acquisition, and internal/external recruiting practices.
  • Proficiency with talent management software (such as UltiPro), ATS platforms, HR systems, and social media marketing (recruitment).
  • In-depth knowledge of HR legal compliance, employment & labor law relevant to talent management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage candidates through cold calling or research methods.
  • Experience in technical recruiting for specialized roles within the home care sector or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Ability to manage high volume recruitment campaigns efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with employee orientation programs, employee evaluation processes, and training & development initiatives.
  • Strong relationship management skills to foster collaboration across teams and external partners for successful talent acquisition outcomes.
