Position Summary

Stenger & Stenger is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Paralegal to support attorneys, enhance legal operations, and serve as a resource for legal support staff. This role combines advanced paralegal responsibilities with workflow management, process improvement, and team mentorship in a fast-paced legal environment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and case exhibits.
  • Maintain and update case files, court records, and legal documentation.
  • Support attorneys with case management and day-to-day legal operations.
  • Monitor workflows, identify process improvements, and help resolve operational issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, legal staff, courts, vendors, and clients.
  • Assist with audits, escalations, client requests, and compliance-related activities.
  • Mentor and train Legal Assistants and newer team members.
  • Lead or support projects, workflow initiatives, and cross-functional efforts as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience; high-volume legal environment preferred.
  • Experience in creditors' rights and civil litigation is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel proficiency, and experience working with legal case management systems.
  • Experience training, mentoring, or leading projects is a plus.
