Job description

Job Summary

The Legal Operations Analyst, working under general supervision, provides legal and operational support to the General Counsel and the Enterprise Legal team across a broad range of corporate legal matters. The role assists with legal research, corporate governance, matter management, and legal operations while supporting the department's technology and document management systems. The Legal Operations Analyst helps improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Enterprise Legal by preparing legal documents, maintaining corporate records, coordinating legal projects, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Legal Research & Document Preparation: Assists the General Counsel and the Enterprise Legal team by preparing legal documents, performing legal research and compiling data from statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal resources.
  • Corporate Governance Support: Provide support for corporate records, board resolutions, and subsidiary documentation. Assist with entity formation, dissolution, and compliance filings.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Assist with legal projects involving compliance, governance, licensing, litigation, and contracts. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Legal Intake & Matter Management: Support the legal intake process for new matters, ensuring accurate setup in the legal matter management system. Assign appropriate naming conventions, categorize matters, and ensure proper routing to attorneys.
  • Legal Operations & Technology: Support and maintain the technology associated with the Enterprise Legal's support tools including the creation of tools and techniques to automate the support process.
  • Document & Records Management: Utilize document and data management systems to prepare, monitor, and record all aspects of casework.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and summarize large quantities of data for clients, managers, and reporting needs and gather and maintain confidential information.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Coordinates with internal team members and partners, employees at all levels within the company as well as externally with outside counsel and vendors.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in working as a Corporate Paralegal and administering Corporate Insurance Program, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field and/or commensurate experience.

Location 

Hybrid - defined as working three or more days per week in the office if the employee's residence is within 50 miles of Westfield Center, OH; or Remote - if the employee resides more than 50 miles from Westfield Center, OH.
