GURSTEL LAW FIRM, P.C. – LEGAL ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY As the Legal Administration Manager, you will plan, direct, and coordinate supportive services of the organization. This position requires an advanced level of legal knowledge and experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, direct, assign, and monitor the Administrative staff, and other office supportive service departments of the Firm.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations
  • Allocate resources to enable task performance
  • Recruit, select, coach, and train new office staff
  • Ensure security and confidentially of data
  • Manage internal staff relations
  • Manage office equipment (copiers, fax machines, scanners)
  • Set goals and deadlines for various departments and/or admins in the legal department
  • Coordinate, evaluate, and manage employee performance to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure and adhere to office policies and procedures
  • Time and attendance tracking
  • Create, maintain, and review SOPs to comply with internal and external standards
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. (Experience may be substituted for education).
  • 2-5 years of management experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and time management
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and direct people as they work
  • Competency in MS Word, Excel, Access, WordPerfect, and PDF
  • CLS, Simple index, and BRP experience preferred
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude
  • An individual versed in the Legal Collections Process preferred
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
