General Summary:

Our Law Department is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist position to provide dedicated support for critical legal operations processes and address increasing operational demands. The role will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen business continuity, and improve execution of key workflows across the department. Creating this position will allow legal professionals to focus on higher-value legal work while ensuring consistent, scalable support for the Law Department's evolving needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate litigation case intake, including preparing and distributing case intake materials to attorneys and leadership.
  • Open, maintain, and close litigation and dispute files.
  • Administer legal holds and support eDiscovery processes related to litigation matters.
  • Manage document filing and records within NetDocuments.
  • Coordinate settlement administration, including preparation, tracking, execution, and filing of settlement agreements.
  • Support legal triage processes, including DLR and legal inquiry intake.
  • Prepare and distribute claim files to outside counsel.
  • Coordinate Legal Tracker inbox activities.
  • Manage subpoena intake, review requests for completeness.
  • Track and coordinate Law Department recognition and reward programs to support equitable utilization across teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience supporting legal, litigation, compliance, or operational processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, document management systems, and information management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with business partners.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

$40,000.00-$75,600.00
