Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with case management, legal research, and drafting documents related to personal injury cases. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment and the ability to think on their feet.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and prepare for litigation.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible.
  • Assist in trial preparation by compiling evidence and preparing trial binders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal case management processes and procedures related to personal injury litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research techniques and tools.
  • Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
