Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team in Houston. In this vital role, you will oversee the management of legal cases, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate documentation, and timely progress.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of legal cases, including Admiralty and Maritime, Defense Base Act, Longshore and Harbor Worker's Compensation, and more.
  • Coordinate case files using document management systems, ensuring all documents are accurately filed, organized, and accessible.
  • Review and analyze legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and court filings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of case progress, correspondence, and client information.
  • Gather relevant information for ongoing cases.
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating tasks across teams to ensure timely case resolution.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; ability to proofread meticulously.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes including filing procedures and document management systems.
