Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Nursing Home

Full-Time | 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. | Rotating Weekends amp; Holidays

Join the Hopedale Medical Complex Team!

Are you a compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional care? Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our Nursing Home team. In this role, you'll provide hands-on resident care while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team committed to delivering quality, resident-centered care.

This position is primarily based in our Nursing Home. Cross-training and occasional floating to the Hospital and Commons Assisted Living Facility may be required based on resident care needs and staffing requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Assist licensed nursing staff in providing compassionate, high-quality resident care.
  • Provide direct care under the supervision of an RN or LPN while maintaining resident comfort, dignity, and safety.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals.
  • Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff.
  • Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while following infection prevention and safety protocols.
  • Protect resident privacy by maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Participate in required training, continuing education, and competency development.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to cross-train and float to other Hopedale Medical Complex departments as needed.
