Immigration Legal Assistant Fluent in Spanish

We are looking for an immigration legal assistant to join our legal team. The Immigration legal assistant will support our attorneys in preparing and filing immigration-related documents and managing client cases. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No immigration experience is required for this position.ย 


Responsibilities:
ยท Assist attorneys with preparing and filing immigration-related documents, including petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
ยท Manage client cases, including preparing case files, monitoring case status, and updating clients on the progress of their case
ยท Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs and memoranda on immigration-related issues
ยท Assist with client communications and document requests, including drafting correspondence, responding to client inquiries, and preparing legal forms and documents
ยท Maintain accurate and complete case files, including electronic and paper records, and ensure that all deadlines are met
ยท Coordinate with outside parties, including government agencies, clients, and other law firms, as needed
ยท Assist with the management of the department's calendar, including scheduling appointments and court appearances

Qualifications:
ยท Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
ยท Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
ยท Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software
ยท Fluency in Spanish required
