Job description

**Job Summary:**
As a Host/Hostess at our Troy locations, you will be responsible for providing a Gold Standard first and last impression to every guest while managing the restaurant's flow to ensure all seats remain occupied even during busy periods.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform station opening/closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and maintenance of the Hospitality Desk and front entrance area.
- Greet and seat guests using appropriate techniques, with a warm and genuine smile, ensuring all guests receive a proper salutation.
- Manage seating and dining room quote times.
- Answer and direct calls with proper telephone etiquette.
- Conduct regular restroom checks.
- Communicate to management regarding quoted times, guest needs, special requests, large party requirements, and guest complaints.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and health and safety standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management staff.
**Qualifications:**
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the restaurant's Table Management system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Knowledge of principles for effectively interacting with the public.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
