Leave of Absence Analyst

The Leave Analyst will oversee and administer leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track employee leave information using ADP and prepare reporting metrics.

  • Oversee FMLA leave administration from initial notice through return to work.

  • Communicate with employees regarding their leave responsibilities and necessary documentation.

  • Collaborate with HR and managers to determine leave eligibility and support operational improvements.

  • Advise on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and disability benefits.

  • Facilitate the return-to-work process for employees after extended leave.

  • Maintain compliance with legal requirements and ensure confidentiality of medical documentation.

  • Provide training and guidance to LOA Specialists and educate stakeholders on leave policies.

We are looking for:

  • 2 years of human resource experience preferred.

  • Strong experience in Leave.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.

  • Relevant experience with Union employees.

  • Stakeholder Management.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

  • Completion of specialized certification or training on FMLA/leave administration a plus.

Salary:

$75,000 to $90,000*

Benefits:

Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
