Job Purpose

Provides assistance as required to Client Advisors in any phase of the marketing, selling, administration, or client interaction.

Performs tasks that enable the Client Advisor to perform his or her primary role of interaction with clients.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist Client Advisors in any capacity that allows the Client Advisor to spend additional time with client contact and consultation, to include but not be limited to:

  • Comprehend the Quality Management System (QMS) by acknowledging and understanding of all processes pertaining to the position and willing to fulfill the standards set forth.
  • Coordinating the pickup and delivery of clients’ vehicles and arranging alternate transportation.
  • Pre-delivery inspection of every vehicle purchased or leased to ensure trouble-free delivery.
  • Delivery of new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Follow-up phone calls.
  • Coordinating service appointments.
  • Entering client profile information into the computer system.

Assist clients when the Client Advisor is not available.

Answer all client questions, complaints or problems addressed to the Sales Assistant. Refer all other issues to the Client Advisor.

Provide information to fellow BMW center members regarding client needs and expectations to help ensure the entire team is prepared to provide the highest level of service to the client with respect to every need.

Assist Client Advisors in developing new business and leads through focused marketing efforts that may include, but are not limited to, direct mail, orphan owners, networking affiliations, and telemarketing. To schedule appointments, generate conquest business and follow up leads at the direction of the Client Advisor.

Establish, in conjunction with the Client Advisor, a sustained relationship with the clients.

Build and maintain personal knowledge of BMW products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by training on the job, attending trade shows and educational programs, establishing a personal network, reviewing industry publications and participating in professional societies.

Demonstrate enthusiasm for all products and services of the BMW franchise and be fully knowledgeable about the features and benefits of BMW products.
