Job description

Leasing Administrative Assistant 5-6 Month Temp-to-Perm

Full-Time Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday availability required. 

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to

·         Prepare, complete, and track new lease and renewal lease packages

·         Create leases in accordance with building regulations, company policies, and legal requirements

·         Track lease expirations, vacant units, and move-out reasons, and compile resident feedback

·         Maintain and update spreadsheets and reports, ensuring accuracy of leasing and occupancy data

·         Review reports for compliance and accuracy, assisting with resolving any discrepancies

·         Update and process tenant lease renewals, including rent stabilized and market-rate units

·         Follow up with tenants to obtain signed leases via phone, email, mail, or Docusign

·         Assist with tenant inquiries via phone, email, and in person

·         Manage electronic filing of leases and related documentation

·         Compile lease packages for agencies, attorneys, and other stakeholders as needed

·         Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive tenant and property information with discretion

·         Perform additional leasing and administrative duties as assigned

Requisites

·         High school Degree or equivalent with some college

·         At least 1 year of LIHTC certification experience

·         Rent Stabilization experience required

·         Section 8 package completion experience preferred

·         Fheps packages experience completion preferred

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Able to multitask and work independently

·         Remain extremely organized and be able to meet multiple deadlines
