What are lease abstractors?

Lease abstractors are professionals who review, analyze, and summarize commercial or residential lease agreements. Their primary role is to extract key information from complex lease documents—such as rent details, important dates, renewal options, and financial obligations—and present it in a clear, concise format. This helps property managers, landlords, and tenants quickly access critical lease terms without having to read the entire contract.
