Job description

The Quality Specialist supports manufacturing process and product quality by learning and applying Goodyear standards, procedures, and quality systems in partnership with experienced team members. This role contributes to process improvement, quality compliance, and problem-solving activities while developing a strong foundation in quality engineering principles. The position plays an important role in supporting manufacturing excellence, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to product and process requirements. Success in this role requires a positive attitude, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.

  • Degree with years of experience, 5 years equivalent experience w/o degree. (Degree at management discretion based on position.)

  • Demonstrated ability to apply systematic problem solving tools and techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment and process problems.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude. Actively participate in meetings, in a supporting role. Initiate open dialogue with peers and leadership on areas of concern.

  • Select best means of communication. Provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within the function, both written and oral.
