Job Description

This 6 month contract position works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to coordinate the development and delivery of Farm Boy’s training content, including: needs assessments, script development, scheduling, training videos, and eLearning modules. This role supports the creation of engaging and effective learning materials that promote operational consistency and support employee development across the organization. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:

  • Act as a liaison between Learning and Operations teams for matters related to digital content development and Learning Management System (LMS) administration and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to coordinate the content development process from initial needs assessment through final review and approval, ensuring timelines and project objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain eLearning modules and question based training materials aligned with established learning principles.
  • Partner with SMEs to prepare scripts, shot lists, and supporting materials for training video production.
  • Upload, test, and maintain training content within Farm Boy’s LMS to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support Human Resources employer branding and communication initiatives by creating digital materials for various communication channels, including: in-app messaging, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Participate in project discussions and support teams with testing and implementation of digital, operational, and departmental communications.
  • Coordinate with software vendors to resolve platform issues and support operational teams with troubleshooting as required.
  • Contribute to overall team success by taking on additional related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, with a minimum of 2 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in Learning and Development or HR considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Well developed organizational and project coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
  • High level of comfort with technology and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to present information in a clear, concise, and user friendly manner.
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Axonify or similar Learning Management Systems and eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise 360, Canva, Wellsaid Labs, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
  • Graphic design, visual content creation, and basic photography, audio, or video recording experience are considered assets.
  • Comfortable working in an environment that includes extended periods of sitting, repetitive tasks, frequent computer use, open office noise, and a flexible schedule that includes occasional travel between stores and regions with reliable transportation.
  • Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
