About the Role

We're hiring a Global Meetings Program Manager to support a global meetings program through stakeholder guidance, meetings technology support, contract review, process improvement, reporting, and data integrity. This is not a hands-on event planning role. It's a position focused on helping drive the global meetings program, working with internal teams to improve workflows, strengthen consistency, and make the best use of meetings technology, currently Groupize.

You'll partner closely with the existing Global Travel Manager and meeting planning teams to support user adoption, help resolve day-to-day platform or process issues, and provide support and training for venue sourcing and supplier engagement as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is well versed in all elements of meeting planning and is confident advising stakeholders, improving workflows, creating SOPs and training materials, and using data to identify opportunities for improvement.

As the Global Meetings Program Manager you will:

* Advise and support the internal stakeholders on meetings processes, technology, registration, attendee management, and best practices

* Manage the meetings technology platform, currently Groupize, including user adoption, configuration and issue resolution

* Partner with the Global Travel Manager to identify and improve workflows ensuring program consistency

* Provide contract guidance and assist with venue sourcing and supplier engagement as needed

* Create SOPs, training materials and keep internal website up to date.

* Analyze reporting

You should have

* Experience in all elements of meeting planning, operations, and event technology platforms

* Strong consultative skills and confidence advising internal stakeholders

* Ability to create process documentation, and training materials

* Strong contract review and negotiation experience for meetings and events

* Knowledge of registration and attendee management processes

* Ability to support user adoption and help resolve day-to-day platform or process issues

* Ability to analyze reports and translate data into practical recommendations

* Strong attention to detail, including data entry and data integrity support

* Experience working across regions and time zones in a remote environment

You should also have

* Experience in a global meetings program environment

* Familiarity with sourcing, venue sourcing, supplier engagement, and travel-related processes

* Experience supporting HCP or Life Sciences meetings would be advantageous.

* Familiarity with AI technology

* Hands on Experience with meetings technology used for registration and sourcing.

You Should Know:

* You'll work closely with a Europe-based Global Travel Manager, so this role requires availability aligned to GMT and PT time zones (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PT)

* There is minimal travel required for this role

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Global Meetings Program Manager is between $70,000 - $82,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
