AmeriTech Contracting is seeking an organized, creative, and people-focused Training Associate to support the growth of our employee training program. This role combines training coordination and learning management system administration with opportunities to create training content and facilitate live or virtual learning experiences.

We do not expect one person to be an expert in every area on day one. The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated strength in at least one of the following: training administration/LMS support, training facilitation, or instructional content development. AmeriTech will provide coaching and hands-on development to build capability in the remaining areas.

Key Responsibilities

· Administer day-to-day activities in the learning management system (LMS), including user support, enrollments, assignments, learning paths, completion records, reminders, and reports.

· Coordinate training schedules, invitations, rosters, rooms, virtual meeting links, equipment, materials, attendance, and follow-up communication.

· Maintain accurate training, certification, and compliance records; identify missing, overdue, or expiring requirements and escalate concerns appropriately.

· Partner with the Training Manager, department leaders, and subject-matter experts to gather information and turn it into clear, practical learning materials.

· Create and update presentations, facilitator guides, learner handouts, job aids, SOPs, quizzes, videos, and digital learning content using approved templates and tools.

· Support, co-facilitate, and eventually lead engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for office and field employees.

· Provide responsive learner support and troubleshoot routine LMS access, assignment, and course-completion issues.

· Collect feedback and review participation, completion, assessment, and performance data to improve training effectiveness.

· Maintain version control, naming conventions, course files, and organized training records.

· Support onboarding, Procore/software training, safety and compliance learning, professional development, and other Training Department initiatives.

· Travel occasionally to company or project locations when training needs require it.

· Perform other related training and development duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

· Two or more years of experience in training coordination, learning and development, instructional design/content creation, corporate facilitation, LMS administration, HR coordination, education, communications, or a related role. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

· Demonstrated strength in at least one core area: training administration/LMS, facilitation, or content development.

· Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working with employees at different levels and with different levels of technical ability.

· Working proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Forms, or the ability to learn quickly.

· Ability to learn new systems, accept feedback, and develop skills outside an initial specialty.

Preferred—not required

· Experience with an LMS such as Litmos and/or e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360.

· Experience creating screen recordings, basic video content, visual job aids, quizzes, or interactive learning.

· Experience delivering adult learning in a corporate, construction, technical, safety, or operations environment.

· Familiarity with Canva, Procore, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, or similar tools.

· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in learning and development, instructional design, education, communications, human resources, business, or a related field.
